Weekly Themes
Week 1 (July 13-17): Survival Adventure
Survival Adventure introduces campers to essential outdoor skills through hands-on learning and collaborative challenges. Activities include shelter building, water safety and purification, fire safety simulations (no open flames), basic food and foraging, introductory navigation and rescue skills, etc. Campers will spend much of the program outdoors and should be prepared for active, nature-based experiences.
Throughout the week, campers explore the natural environment responsibly while developing confidence, problem-solving abilities, and resilience. Each child completes a combination of creative projects, team challenges, and guided reflection to earn their Junior Survivalist Certificate.
Week 2 (July 20-24): Imagination Station
Imagination Station inspires campers to dream, create, and explore through themed adventures in art, storytelling, and hands-on projects. Each day brings a new imaginative world- Animal Safari, Superheroes, Magical Creatures, Pirates, and Space Explorers: where campers craft, build, and role-play their own stories. Activities encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork through games, experiments, and creative design.
Campers will express their ideas through art and play, transform everyday materials into extraordinary creations, and dive into interactive stories that spark curiosity and confidence. We hope to encourage discovery of new ways to think creatively, collaborate with others, and celebrate their unique imagination.
Week 3 (July 27-31): Art Party
Art Party invites campers to explore creativity through painting, sculpture, and design using fun, hands-on techniques. Each day features a new artistic focus—Texture Techniques, Symmetry and Patterns, Collage and Mosaic, Sculptures, and Special Effect Painting.
Campers experiment with materials such as salt, yarn, paint, buttons, and natural elements to create one of a kind masterpieces. This week supports self expression, fine motor development, and imaginative thinking in a relaxed, indoor, studio-style environment. No prior art experience is needed! Just bring creativity, a sense of fun, and clothes that are ready to get messy!
Week 4 (Aug 4-7): STEM Quest
STEM Quest invites campers to step into the role of scientists, engineers, and inventors through hands-on experiments and creative challenges. Each day focuses on a new scientific concept; such as optics and colour mixing, structures, propulsion, or buoyancy, presented through fun and age appropriate activities.
Campers may build water microscopes, design sound boxes, launch pom-poms, explore colour reactions, or test boat designs to discover what floats or sinks.This week fosters curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking as campers problem solve, create, and explore how science, technology, engineering, and math connect to the world around them.
Week 5 (Aug 10-14): Science Explorers
Science Explorers sparks curiosity and creativity through hands on experiments in nature, chemistry, physics, earth science, and engineering. Campers investigate topics such as plant growth, colour movement in water, simple chemical reactions, and the effects of force through fun, age appropriate activities.
Each day presents engaging challenges, including building mini greenhouses, creating sun prints, testing volcano reactions, and constructing paper rockets or winches. Through guided discovery and playful learning, campers develop observation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills while experiencing the wonder of science in action.
Week 6 (Aug 17-21): Passport Adventure
Passport Adventure takes campers on a global journey to explore world cultures, creativity, and sustainability. Each day features a new destination such as London, Paris, Japan, or Africa through hands-on crafts, games, and STEM inspired building challenges. Campers design personal passports, collect daily stamps, and create artwork inspired by cultural landmarks, traditions, and eco awareness
Activities spark curiosity, promote respect for global diversity, and encourage care for the planet, fostering a sense of connection and wonder about the wider world.
Week 7 (Aug 24-28): Carnival Fun
Carnival Fun brings the energy and creativity of a fairground to camp through a lively mix of games, crafts, music, and playful challenges. Campers design and play their own carnival-style games, such as ring toss, beanbag cornhole, and tin can knockdown. They also create photo booth props, bead jewelry, face painting art, and DIY musical instruments, including maracas.
Each day highlights creativity, teamwork, and friendly competition in a colourful, festive setting. The week is filled with laughter, music, and hands on fun for all ages.
